Chicago Humanities Festival
Served as the de facto chief development officer of the Festival for four seasons. In this capacity closely with the Festival's Executive Director and Board of Directors to stabilize and grow Festival contributed revenue by directing staff, successfully securing major program underwriting from individuals, and executing the Festival's annual benefit.
Result: The Festival's gala's net income doubled; major individual support to underwrite programs tripled, fundraising income grew from $1.8 million in 2007 to $2.3 million in 2012.
Grant Park Music Festival
Worked as the chief development officer of the Festival for two seasons during a period of leadership transition.
Result: Met fundraising budgets for each years, Inaugurated the Festival's Impresario Society, organized and successfully executed the tenth anniversary celebration of its Music Director, and drafted several foundation and corporate sponsorship proposals.
