Columbia College Chicago
In the context of Columbia's $25 million capital campaign, Philanthropy Rx managed the President's Club and President's Club Council, Columbia's leadership giving society. The primary goal of this assignment was to establish the President's Club as the launching point for Columbia's alumni and friends to become educated about and engaged in the college. Concurrently Philanthropy Rx created, designed and wrote Columbia's year-end solicitation piece, its first segmented solicitation mailing in approximately three years.
Result: President's Club goal was reached and the year-end solicitation raised approximately $30,000.
Concordia University Chicago
Assisted the University's Senior Vice President of Advancement establish the foundation for an individual major gifts program within the context of Concordia's capital campaign.
Result: Identified key individuals for Concordia to approach for advice about raising the University's profile in Chicago.
North Park University
Conducted an audit of North Park University's development and alumni operations in preparation for a proposed $25-$40 million comprehensive capital campaign.
Result: Philanthropy Rx's advancement reorganization and revenue reporting recommendations were accepted and executed.
University of Illinois at Chicago, College of Applied Health Sciences
In the context of the University's Brilliant Futures campaign worked with the Dean of Applied Health Sciences to create a funding plan for two critical projects.
Result: Philanthropy Rx in concert with the Dean determined that a donor base does not exist to support the projects. However, during the assignment by working with division heads, Philanthropy Rx identified alumni and friends of the College who have the capacity and interest to support other equally important programs and initiatives.
